Meet Mat Roberts

I’m Mat Roberts, founder of Evolve Personal Training Facility.

After years of training clients across the UK and working in Australia, I built my career helping a wide range of people from busy mums and dads wanting to move better, lose body fat, build strength, and improve their health, to individuals returning to exercise after injury or time away.

I’ve seen some incredible body transformations along the way. I also support and specialise in working with people recovering from eating disorders, helping many achieve life-changing results.

As my career evolved, alongside working with the general population, I specialised in strength and conditioning and later moved into sports rehabilitation, working and consulting closely with physiotherapists to help clients reduce pain, move better, and return to training safely. Today, I regularly receive referrals from local physios for this exact reason.

I now run Evolve, a personal training facility where I still coach alongside my team, helping everyday people from their 30s to their 70s get stronger, fitter, healthier, and more confident.

We offer small group, semi-private, and one-to-one personal training, all built around expert coaching, structure, and accountability.

I built Evolve to create a place where training is supportive, structured, and focused on what truly matters helping you move well, stay strong, improve your health, and most importantly, build a lifelong love for exercise while enjoying the process every step of the way.
